Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 369!

Special thanks to our sponsor, Visitation BVM Parish.
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.  Cub Scouts is a year-round family and home centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills and development of skills that will enable the Cub Scout to move on to Boy Scouts.

Popcorn Return...

Posted on Oct 6 2016 - 11:21am

Hello Scout Families,

The popcorn sale is starting to wind down.  I didn’t put any more show and sell time slots up but other than Acme, Wawa, and the bowling alley you could still go to the other sites and sell if you desire pretty much anytime.

Please return all unsold popcorn, money, and outstanding orders by Friday, Oct 14th.

I will fill as many outstanding orders from our inventory. If we run out of something I will need to submit an final order by Thursday Oct 20th.  These orders will come in Saturday Nov 5th.  Don’t forget about the incentives below. There is a second fill-a-sheet drawing due Nov 5th. $750 in sales gets you into the Fish Club or Philadelphia Rock Gyms Quick Climb package.

Valley Forge Hike!

Posted on Oct 3 2016 - 2:45pm

I would like to invite anyone who might be interested to join us on Saturday October 8th at 12 noon for the next leg of our hike thru Valley Forge National Park. As many of you know we are working on earning the Historic Medal Award. The first part of the journey ended at the Wayne Statue and we will continue from there. We hope to make our way over Mount Joy thru to Washington's Headquarters. Mount Joy is a fairly steep climb, with a rocky trail, not loose rocks but many uneven surfaces. This walk should take about an hour and a half or so, moving at a very relaxed pace. Our goal is to be finished by about 3 pm so as not to take all of the day...

If you are interested in joining us, even if you missed the first part, that is ok please just let me know so that I can make sure I have a handbook for each scout. For those who participated on the first leg of the trip please bring the Medal Handbook AND the Stewardship program log so that the scouts can keep logging hours towards their patches.

Out of our initial group of 7 Scouts, we had 6 become Junior Park Rangers and 1 earn a Stewardship patch from the NPS (The other 6 will be eligible once they have enough hours accumulated). Congratulations Scouts!

As always if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, if I missed anyone please pass this along. whitehawk32@yahoo.com

New Parent Orientation & Q&A

Posted on Oct 3 2016 - 8:59am
  • This Wednesday 10/5 from 7:00 PM – approx. 7:45 PM New Parent Orientation & Q&A in the Scout Room.  (This meeting is typically for parents only, so we can answer any of your questions, come up with mutually agreeable Den Meeting times, as well as decide which parents will help lead our two new Dens.  We will review new scout applications and collect any outstanding dues.  For families who need to bring their scouts and other kids, our Boy Scout Den Chiefs and two adults will be on hand to run some fun activities with the kids during this time.)
