Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 369!

Special thanks to our sponsor, Visitation BVM Parish.
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.  Cub Scouts is a year-round family and home centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills and development of skills that will enable the Cub Scout to move on to Boy Scouts.

Camping Trip 6/3 - 6/5 At Evansburg State Park - CANCELLED

Posted on Sep 20 2016 - 11:28am

Hello all campers and those of you who never camped before!

This camping trip is special, it's  the boys ( ruffing it in the woods) truth is we will have flush toilets and a sink! (SEE THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT!) And for people without a tent, we will have extra, and will set them up for you. But if you’re still not ready to sleep in a tent it's ok. This trip is to Evensburg Park, so 10-15 minutes from most of our houses!   I know this time of year many have sports commitments, but we will be there Friday night and all day Saturday, stop up when you can!

Or bring your family to our camp fire Friday and Saturday night. Stories are told, skits by Jim and the kids are highlights of every camp fire and camping trip. (Believe it or not, Jim is an Amazing actor!) Everyone is welcome, for the weekend or a few hours. When your boy joined scouts, he pictured, camp fires, camping out and fun with his friends. That is what this trip is about. Hope to see you all there!

Pack 369 owes a great deal of thanks to John Markowski & John Frangiosa for all their countless hours of hard work to deliver a great program to the scouts of Pack 369.  Last night we gave them the gift of frogs. (If you never heard the story of when it rained frogs ask them! ) One Frog for each of the scouts in the their 3 years that they helped earn their Arrow of LIght, with most crossing over and joining Boy scouts. One large frog representing the leaders and adults of Pack 369 who they also led for the past 3 years.

Luckily they both will not be going to far: John Frangiosa has agreed to stay on as Pack Trainer and John Markowski will be back as a Den Leader when his youngest son gets to join scouts.  Again, thank them both for all their hard work for the past 5 years.

I would also like to thank everyone for bestowing this great honor upon me.  I will do MY best to lead Pack 369, with the help of our many AKELA, our strong Den Chiefs, and of course, our brave scouts. Hopefully I will grow into the Cub Master's headdress!

Alex's brother Mathew knows where Pack 369 goes to have camping fun!

Of all the fun things our Pack does, nothing seems to bond our Scouts and families together more than having fun while camping as a Pack.  I highly recommend you give it a try!
